I love Mika. Her versatility is amazing, but I think she does best on jazz and jazz-fusion tracks like this.

i can never look up the tag toe because ill get actual pictures with toes and not a japanese instrumental indie band that i like to listen to when i draw

グッドバイ (Goodbye) by toe ft. Toki Asako

Japanese indie this time. It seems like I’m a fan of songs that slowly build up, because this is another (and probably the best) example of one. The guitars and bass stay relatively slow throughout the whole song while the drums get really intense and technical, especially 3:35. Toki Asako’s vocals may seem too soft, but it fits the mood. The instrumental track is pretty much the highlight of this song.

The amount of feeling and passion they put into the music is also beautiful to watch. You really have to see this performance, and look how much they get into it around 4:20 and 6:40.
